Putting Uber back on the map
A German comeback written for the people already moving through it.
Uber had become a legal argument before it could become an everyday habit in Germany. The comeback needed to lower the temperature, explain the service and give people a reason to smile. My role covered the visual and verbal identity, OOH headlines, film scripts and social concepts.
I developed product benefits into thoughts commuters were already having. Safer ways home. One more beer. Ten more minutes in bed. Useful, local and knowingly German.

Then the lines took over the streets. High-frequency posters made the new voice familiar, while giant placements at Munich’s Odeonsplatz and Berlin’s Alexanderplatz made the comeback impossible to miss.
A brand that had disappeared from Germany came back sounding like it belonged there.
